After-Tax Cash Flow

What is the After-Tax Cash Flow in Real Estate Investing?

The after-tax cash flow refers to the net revenue or income remaining after all operating expenses, including taxes, are paid. Real estate investors consider this when analyzing the profitability of a subject property.

Similarly, lenders will review the property’s or real estate investor’s after-tax cash flow when considering a mortgage loan, real estate financing or commercial development loan.
